October photos

 

Yesterday was the final day of a photo workshop I participated in for the entire month of October. It was called Picture Fall, taught by Tracey Clark, the founder of Shutter Sisters. Everyday, Tracey sent out a beautifully articulated email describing the photo idea for the day. The prompts were things like morning light, rhythm, connections, fall colors, fantasy, subtlety...you get the idea. The photos were then uploaded to a gallery for all participants to view. Sometimes it was easy...sometimes not, but always fun and inspiring. Here's a sampling of mine...

Three things I've observed: 

 - it's helpful to always look at something from a new angle 

 - if you think you've got it, try once more 

 - perfect light requires a lot of patience
