Ever since he was a puppy, Oliver has expressed his preference for certain plant material. Birch twigs and rose stems are favorites, but the all time winner is lilac. A few weeks ago when we had our first of the year, as I was preping it I looked down to find a big white furry head in my lap...asking for his share.
