Last night we returned from our five day trip to the mountain. A morning adventure took us to a place previously undiscovered (by us) in the forest where saws have never sung their noisy songs. A rare oasis of uncut trees, carpeted in ferns, wildflowers and a little stream...a little piece of heaven.
From top to bottom: aquilegia, rose, lupine, Takeeter, tubran lillies, manzanita, turban lily, staghorn lichen, Takeeter and Oliver, azalea, not sure.
While we were away I had a chance to read this book - a sequel to A Dog's Purpose.
Be sure to have your kleenex box within reach.
